Our Story
2,500 years ago, when the world’s first Republic was less than a decade old, Rome found itself under surprise attack by a numerically superior force. Horatius, along with a small contingent, overcame tremendous odds and in doing so, helped a city become a civilization.
Just as vast empires begin as villages, corporations start as small companies. Along the way, organizations need support at critical moments in order to maximize the probability that their strategic decisions will have positive long term effects.
Billy Birdzell
Billy is passionate about creating exceptional outcomes because strong companies are part of the foundation for a resilient nation.
Prior to launching Horatius Group, Billy was a founding member of Marine Corps Special Operations and served as the Chief Investment Officer of a single-family office.
Billy earned a BA in Economics from Emory University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.

Luther holds two Electrical Engineering degrees from Dartmouth College.
